Ali Abdullah Al Humaidi

Managing Director

Ali's vast knowledge and experience has been gained over 36 years working in technical and leadership roles in the Telecom industry in Qatar, and spans its development as local entity to being a global company of international notoriety,


A former Diplomat in the Qatari Embassy in the United Kingdom, Ali has international relations expertise vital to the working with the international diversity.

 

With 17 years as a human resources leader in Qtel, Ali has high level skills in design, implementation and evaluation of accredited training and development structures, talent management, recruitment, succession planning, career development planning and Qatarisation.. He was National Director of a 10-year United Nations Development Telecom Training Project whilst employed in this role.

 

Since 2005, Ali has been the managing director of ALMARAS Management and Training Consultancy bringing local and regional knowledge and experience to the human resources field. ALMARAS is a Qatari based company with a particular focus on research based, best practice in human resources and corporate Qatarisation strategies.

 

ALMARAS has a network of contacts, at all levels, within the corporate, business and government sectors in Qatar and maintains successful strategic partnerships with international companies

 

 

Genevieve Reynolds

Genevieve has worked in international business and development contexts since 2001, in Qatar, South East Asia, the Pacific, South America, and Australia. Her experiences encompass long and short term advisory roles focusing on capacity building, leadership development, mentoring; policy and standards implementation; resource development and international education marketing.

 

Genevieve is now a senior consultant with ALMARAS Management and Training Consultancy following a successful contract in Qatar with the Supreme Education Council, working as a professional standards leadership facilitator.

 

Her international achievements build on an eminent career in education in Australia, as a teacher in schools and university, an adviser, curriculum designer and writer, facilitator, project manager and, leader in professional associations.

 

Genevieve enjoys a reputation for high energy levels, innovative thinking, flexibility and collaborative approaches. She has a Masters degree in education: Leadership and management and international certification in psychometric assessment. This coupled with a strong sense of social justice and cultural awareness through having lived and worked in Brazil, the Philippines and Qatar, equips her for contributions on multiple levels, where the challenge of rapid change in diverse settings, requires open, respectful and facilitative approaches ensuring the successful delivery of a sustainable product.
